Stone Village Facilities

Welcome to the Stone Village Tourist Camp, a recently renovated motor-court/motel. Originally constructed in 1935, the motel has been in consistent operation, providing lodging for tourists, business travelers and outdoor enthusiast with comfortable queen pillow-top beds and classic styling's of the 30's era in the cool, mile-high climate of the Davis Mountains.

We offer two types of accommodations: Rustic charm in modern comfort in the Renovated Motor Court, or a retro feel in our modern section of the motel.

Our lodging accommodations feature kitchenette suites, camp rooms(for upscale camping), carpeted motel rooms or hardwood floors and cedar ceilings; all furnished with simple yet tasteful amenities. Our peaceful motel, with landscaped patio and heated pool, is ideal for birders, bicyclist, hikers, motorcyclist, fitness buffs or for just sitting back and relaxing.

The Motel

The Motel Stone Village Tourist Camp Motel offers 14 units of various styles. Guest are treated to a clean, crisp swimming pool that is heated in season, beautiful landscaped grounds of tall pines and flower beds, honeysuckle, hummingbirds and an occasional cat.

There are two sections to the motel property: The Renovated Motor Court and the Modern Motel Section. The Renovated Motor Court rooms feature hardwood floors, cedar ceilings, tiled bathrooms, flat panel TV, free Wifi, pillowtop mattresses, chenille bedspreads and pillow shams.

Our kitchenette suites are furnished with mini-fridges, microwaves, coffee makers and coffee, cabinetry, wet bar and two televisions, Wifi, two-person dining table and either a tiled walk-in shower or tub/shower. Some kitchettes are furnished with a queen sofa sleeper in the sitting room.

Other amenities include hair dryer, iron and ironing board, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and soap.

Camp Rooms

The camp rooms are budget priced and offer two twin pillow top beds in 40's era metal frames, cold water basin, ceiling fan, privacy curtain and securable screen door. Guests in the camp rooms use the communal bath facilities: Men's and Women's-each contains two privacy stalls, two privacy showers.

The Patio

Adirondak recliners, a swimming pool that open in season, and beautifully landscaped grounds provide a peaceful gathering area for all guests of the motel and camprooms. The pool, open from March to October, is heated. The patio also provides a fantastic place for barbequeing and when burn bans aren't in effect, a fire pit provides the perfect draw to a beautiful evening under the "Darkest Skies in North America!"
